Reiki Training
Learn to work with Reiki in a grounded, intuitive and practical way.
Reiki training is a journey that deepens over time.
Each level builds on the one before it, giving you a stronger understanding of Reiki, greater confidence in working with energy and, if you choose, the skills to eventually practise professionally or teach others.
At Whitespace Wellbeing, Reiki training is taught in small, supportive groups with plenty of practical experience, space for questions and encouragement to trust your own way of working with energy.
You don’t need to be highly intuitive or have any previous experience to begin.
The Three Levels of Reiki
Reiki I
Reiki Level 1 is where your Reiki journey begins.
This level focuses on understanding the foundations of Reiki, learning how to connect with the energy and beginning a regular self-Reiki practice.
You’ll also learn how to give Reiki to family and friends in a gentle and confident way.
Level 1 includes:
The history and foundations of Reiki
Understanding energy and the energetic body
The Reiki principles
Reiki hand positions
Self-Reiki
Giving Reiki to another person
Grounding and energetic boundaries
Developing trust in your intuition
Practical Reiki experience
Reiki Level 1 attunement
No previous experience is required.
Reiki II
Reiki Level 2 takes your practice deeper.
At this level, you begin working with the traditional Reiki symbols and explore how Reiki can be used beyond an in-person treatment.
There is also a greater focus on emotional and mental healing, intention and distance Reiki.
Level 2 includes:
The Reiki Level 2 symbols
How and when to use the symbols
Distance Reiki
Supporting emotional and mental wellbeing
Strengthening your connection with Reiki
Deepening intuitive awareness
Practical treatment techniques
Reiki Level 2 attunement
Level 2 is for students who have completed Reiki Level 1 and feel ready to take their practice further. On completion of Reiki Level 2, students have the training required to begin offering Reiki professionally as Reiki Practitioners.
Reiki Master/Teacher Level
The Reiki Master level is for those who feel called to deepen their relationship with Reiki even further.
For some people, this level is about personal mastery and spiritual development.
For others, it becomes the pathway to teaching Reiki and attuning future students.
This level explores:
Reiki Master symbols
Advanced Reiki practices
Deepening your personal Reiki practice
Holding space for others
The Reiki attunement process
Teaching Reiki
Supporting students through their own Reiki journey
Developing your own approach as a Reiki practitioner or teacher
Becoming a Reiki Master is less about reaching an endpoint and more about continuing to grow into the practice.
